Consistently friendly
We go for special occasions. The vibe is smart but not stuffy, so yes the staff are more efficient and friendly rather than just silver service with their nose in the air. Can get busy, but we are never in a hurry. Upstairs is actually rather nice, as the light streams in. Puds are good, and we've had the best lamb chops there ever.
